1. Service Description

DateShield is an AI-powered dating safety tool that analyses messages for manipulation tactics, generates contextual replies, and scores profile authenticity. The service is provided “as is” and is intended as a supplementary safety tool, not a replacement for personal judgement.

2. Account Terms

• You must be at least 18 years old to use DateShield
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• One account per person — no shared or automated accounts
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use DateShield to:

• Harass, stalk, or harm other individuals
• Submit content that is illegal or violates others' rights
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract our AI models
• Exceed rate limits or abuse the API through automated means

4. Subscription & Billing

• Free trial: 7 days with full access, no credit card required
• Paid plan: £2.99/month, billed monthly via Stripe
• Cancel anytime from your account settings — access continues until the end of your billing period
• No refunds for partial months

5. Limitations

DateShield's AI analysis is not infallible. We do not guarantee the detection of all manipulation tactics. Always use your own judgement when interacting with people online. DateShield is not liable for decisions made based on its analysis.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your settings page.
